Enter the universe of Nadya Dzyak, our new European prêt-à-porter designer who is an official resident of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

How and why did you become a designer?

I've always been passionate about fashion and style. I drew a lot, sewed and invented my own outfits and looks. This is my cosmos, my planet.

How would you describe your brand in a few simple words?

Confidence, inner energy, femininity, style, effortless chic, sex. And a little bit of contemporary poetry.

What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?

You should appreciate every moment of your life... Spend more time with your family and friends! On the way to your goals there will be many obstacles, but do not stop and stay honest with yourself. Stand by your principles, no matter what.

Where did you get your latest inspiration from?

I looked at art for inspiration for the creation of the new collection of SS18. I was inspired by the works of landscape painters such as Ken Hong Leung, who is a Chinese landscape painter, a true virtuoso of oil painting. He used colors like music, drawing with shades of colors and romantic patterns. I’m also fond of artistic rhythms by Dmitry Kustanovich, a modern Petersburg impressionist who uses a unique technique to apply paints to the canvas. Last but not the least, I was inspired by unusual painting of the Dutch artist Willem Haenraets.
